THEISS · RODENBACH · FOODIE CHECKLIST

Privacy,
kept simple.

Foodie Checklist is designed without accounts, advertising trackers, or server-side personal data storage. Theiss does not collect or retain personal data through normal use of the app.

01

Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Foodie Checklist mobile application provided by Theiss. Our approach is straightforward: the app is intended to function without collecting, logging, profiling, selling, or retaining personal information on Theiss servers during normal use.

02

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information through normal use of Foodie Checklist. Registration is not required. We do not collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, advertising identifiers, or behavioral profiles.

03

Local App Data

Foodie Checklist may use device-local storage to make app features work, such as shopping lists, favorites, history, preferences, or progress. This local information remains on your device and is not uploaded to or stored by Theiss as part of normal app use.

04

Third-Party Sharing

Because Theiss does not collect personal data through normal app use, we do not sell, rent, or share such data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. We do not use third-party advertising trackers inside the app.

05

Network & Technical Data

If your device accesses Google Play, internet infrastructure may process temporary technical information required to deliver network services. Such processing is controlled by the relevant platform or network provider. Theiss does not use that information to create profiles or track users.

06

Data Retention

Theiss does not retain personal data from normal use of Foodie Checklist because we do not collect or store it on our servers. Any app information kept locally on your device remains under your control and is not retained by Theiss. If you voluntarily contact us by email, the information you send may remain in our email system only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, meet legal obligations, or resolve the request.

07

Data Deletion

There is no server-side Foodie Checklist account or personal-data profile to delete. Local app information can be removed using available in-app clear/reset controls, by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. If you previously contacted Theiss and want information from that correspondence deleted, you can email us and request deletion, subject to any legal retention requirements.

08

Security

Keeping personal data off our servers reduces privacy risk. We also aim to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the website, app distribution process, and any correspondence we receive directly.

09

Children's Privacy

Foodie Checklist is not directed to children under 13, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through normal use of the app.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, applicable law, or our privacy practices change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.

11

Effective Date

This Privacy Policy is effective as of October 23, 2026.
